Our annual Hmong New Year celebration will be happening at Sheboygan North High again this year! Come join the celebrations at 2926 N 10th St, Sheboygan, WI 53083.
In the evening, join us for our party which will feature live performances from incredible Hmong bands and singers!

HMAAS x JMAC : Ger Xiong Cross-stitching metalsmith workshop
Join artist Ger Xiong for a hands-on workshop in which we will cross stitch Hmong patterns into replicated French Indochina coins. Xiong cast the coins in brass at the Kohler Co. factory during his Arts/Industry residency. We will explore traditional patterns and symbols and learn more about Hmong textiles and metalsmithing processes. Xiong will lead discussions about what it means to be Hmong and how identity shapes our everyday living.
The embellished coins from this workshop will be on view at the Hmong New Year celebration, November 29–30, hosted by the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association of Sheboygan.
Refreshments will be served– come, make your mark!
This workshop is offered in collaboration with the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association of Sheboygan.

Our Hmong Community Center at 2304 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, WI, is hosting a free event where we’ll be showing “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania”. We will also have free beverages and snacks for everyone who attends. Come have a spooky and relaxing time with your family and friends!

Every Thursday from 11AM-1PM, we partnered with JoinUs Hmong Cafe to offer a free and warm meal to the public. The food are culturally sensitive and delicious. Come try something new or experience something familiar.
On October 3rd 2024. We will offer Covid and Flu Vaccines during this specific free meal day.
